Terms of Service

It has not yet been reviewed by a licensed attorney and is not in effect until Crestline AI LLC publishes a final version with a real effective date. Sections marked like this need a decision or a lawyer's input before publishing.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Crestline AI LLC ("Crestline AI," "we," "us," or "our"), the company behind Curavo. They govern your use of the Curavo website (mycuravo.com) and application (app.mycuravo.com), together "Curavo" or the "Service."

By creating a Curavo account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Curavo.

2. What Curavo Is (and Isn't)

Curavo is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The information Curavo provides — including medication schedules, drug interaction alerts, symptom assessments, and physician reports — is for informational and organizational purposes only. It is not intended to replace the advice, diagnosis, or treatment of a licensed healthcare professional, and you should never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something Curavo showed you.

In case of a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. Do not use Curavo to seek emergency assistance.

3. Eligibility & Your Account

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Curavo account. Curavo is designed for adults managing their own medications and for family members or caregivers managing medications on behalf of someone else.

Curavo accounts sign in using a one-time link sent to your email address — we don't ask you to create or store a password. You're responsible for keeping access to that email account secure, since anyone with access to it can sign in to your Curavo account. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Caregiver Accounts & Other People's Information

If you use Curavo to track medications, symptoms, or health information for someone else — a parent, spouse, or anyone in your care — you confirm that you have that person's permission, or the legal authority (such as being their healthcare proxy or power of attorney), to enter and manage their information in Curavo. You're responsible for that information the same way you're responsible for your own.

6. AI-Generated Content

Curavo uses Anthropic's Claude AI models to help organize your medication and symptom information into summaries, interaction alerts, and reports. AI-generated content can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Always review AI-generated output yourself and confirm anything important — especially drug interaction warnings — with a pharmacist or your doctor before acting on it.

7. Your Content

You keep ownership of the information you enter into Curavo (medications, symptoms, notes, and so on — your "Content"). You grant Crestline AI a limited license to store, process, and transmit your Content solely to provide the Service to you, including sending relevant parts of it to Anthropic's API to generate the AI features described in Section 6. We don't use your Content to train AI models, and we don't sell it. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail on how your data is handled.

8. Fees

Curavo is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we'll update these Terms and tell existing users before any charges apply.

9. Suspension & Termination

You may stop using Curavo and delete your account at any time from within the app, which permanently deletes your stored data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Curavo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crestline AI LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or health outcomes, arising from your use of Curavo. Our attorney should confirm this section meets the requirements of the state(s) where we do business, and set an appropriate liability cap.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Crestline AI LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms, including entering another person's health information without the authorization described in Section 4.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Our attorney should advise on whether to include an arbitration clause and class-action waiver here, which is common for consumer apps but has tradeoffs worth discussing.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Curavo changes. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or an in-app notice before they take effect. Continuing to use Curavo after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
